We will be taking entries on the day. All the start times and race information is below.
This is your chance to race on a 100% traffic free bike. This race is ideal for anyone new to Duathlon.
Registration will open at 8.00am for the Winter Duathlon only. We suggest you get there early so you will have the chance to ride on the track before the race to warm up. Helmets must be worn at all times.
The race will now start at 9.00 am for the winter Duathlon only and the last competitor should finish by 11am. We have the track till 12pm.
Race run through
For the sprint you will all run one lap of the track (2.5k) then its out of the cyclopark for a 3.5 lap. Foe the GOTri you only run one lap of the track.
Then back onto the track for a 20k bike (8 laps) GOTri is 15k (6 laps)
Its easy to keep count if you have a speedo. If you don’t have one just time your first lap then just keep adding that time to each lap. You will get a bit slower but you should still be able to work it out.
Its then back out onto the second run and that’s the 3.5k loop again.
We have now added a map of the run course.
There will be a race brief at the 8.50am to go over the whole race.
The Prize giving will be after the last person has crossed the line
All our events are covered by BTF and our own Public liability insurance.
For information about the Cyclopark go to www.cyclopark.com .
We will allow some practice before the race to familiarize you with the bike course and its corners.
There is parking and toilets on site and the coffee and Bike shops are now fully open.
There is also a play area for children is you are bringing along the family.
There will also be snacks and water at the finish for everyone after the race.
In the event that we have to cancel the race due to bad weather you can switch your entry into another race or get a full refund.
You are required to wear helmets while cycling at Cyclopark. The helmet must be worn correctly at all times when with a bike. If you bring your own it must meet the current UK safety standard – BS EN 1078:1997.
Cycling and other activities available at Cyclopark carry inherent risks. You should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for your own actions and involvement. If you’re unsure whether you are able to participate in any activity, or if you have any questions please ask a member of staff before you enter into a contract or agree to partake in cycling at Cyclopark.
We are approaching winter and there may be occasions when the conditions make it unsafe to hold a duathlon. We will let you know as soon as we can if we have to cancel the duathlon. You can have a refund (minus processing fee) or transfer to another Duathlon race.
The Cyclopark management will have the final say on the safety of the circuit.
