Registration will now open at 8.00am. We suggest you get there early so you will have the chance to ride on the track before the race to warm up.
Sorry but there is a charge for parking at the cyclopark. Its £1.90 up to 4 hours after that they will charge you £7 pound. I suggest you get there for 8.00 am then get away by 12pm.
So keep an eye on the time.
Helmets must be worn at all times.
The race will now start at 9.00am and the last competitor should finish by 11.00am.
The weather is looking good for Sunday no rain.
Race run through.
You head out of the cycle park and up the hill for about 2.5k. You then turn right and come back up a rise and back down to the foot path and back to the Cyclopark.
If you are taking part in the longer race you turn and do it all over again.
For the GOTRi there will be a turn point at about 1.3k as you are heading up the hill.
There will be water at the turn point for the second lap..
Then onto the track for a 20k bike (8 laps) or 30k bike (12 laps) GOTri (5 laps)
Is easy to keep count if you have a speedo. If you don’t have one just time your first lap, then just keep adding that time to each lap. You will get a bit slower but you should still be able to work it out.
Its then back out onto the second run and that’s the first 5k loop again.
GOTri course.
The GOTri race will start at the same time. You will head out the same way as the other 2 races but there will be a turn point that will take you back to the cyclopark.
You will then cycle 12.5k (5 laps)
After you have finished you will go back out and repeat the first run.
There will be a short race brief at the 8.40am to go over the whole race.
The Prize giving will be done as soon as we can.
Also due to the size of the races there will only be Trophies for the first 3 finishers M/F.
GOTri will be first place only.
See you all Sunday.
John
