Thank you for entering this years 10k and Fun run.
Apologies for the course being short.
I only found out Thursday evening that the pavement had been dug up. My intension was to walk the course using 2 Garmin Watches on Saturday. Unfortunately a friend that normally put out all the signs went sick on me so i had to set the whole race on my own yesterday. I tried to work it out cycling one lap and doubling the distance but missed out about 300m.
We do hope you still enjoyed the race. Next year we will back on the old course that is 100% correct.
Our Christmas 5k and 10k run is on the 8th December 2024.
Everyone will get a finishers medal and technical t-shirt from another event.
Prize for the best Santa outfit.
I should add this distance is also correct to within 3 meters.

Please don’t leave any rubbish behind.
They do have security cameras on site.

We have real toilets and showers on site and they are about 150m away next to the security office.

The run course will be 2 laps around both lakes. We now feel it’s not safe to cross the road by the roundabout.
