2017 Midnight Marathon 

The 2017 Midnight Marathon will take place on the 24th June. We have had to move it forward a week due to Building work starting on the 26th June.

All finishers will receive a Finishers t-shirt and Medal.

Due to safety issues we will be starting the Marathon at 7pm. We will also have 4 bikes on the course after 10pm to look after everyone.

Thank you for all entering the 2nd Dartford Midnight Marathon. We hope you enjoyed out event. It was great to see people return to take part for the second year running.

The course record was betting by 3 minutes by Mike Bisson from Lordshill  Road Runners in 2.45.29 .

The Lady’s course record was also beaten by 16 minutes by Jenny Millett in a time of 03:19:50

Photos of the winners will be posted on face book later tonight when I have had a sleep.

Apologizes for the confusion about the parking. We where let down by the company that said we could use there car park. We ow a huge thanks to Salisbury for allowing us to use there car park.

2016 Midnight Marathon

Thank you all for entering the 2016 Midnight Marathon.

We are pleased to say we are up 20% on entrees from last year’s race.

When entering the site please follow the signs to the car park. This is about 400m from the start.

Registration will open at 5pm and there will be a short race brief at 6.30pm. The start is about 400m from the finish.

At registration you will be given a timing chip and race number.

You will also be offered a kit bag. This is for you to put anything that you may need during the race. The temperature can drop during the night so you may wish to add some warmer clothing.

All the bags will be placed by the side of the run course in number order. Please don’t forget to pick them up after the run.

All finishers will receive a Finishers t-shirt and Medal.

There will be 2 water stations on the run course. One at the finish area and another about 1.5 miles away. There will also be a bag storage area by registration.

There will be a tea wagon on site all night and there will also be a rest area with free soft drinks and light snacks.  

There will be full medical cover on site all night.

Toilets will be to the right of registration that you will be able to get to all night.

We do have a few people staying over after the race. You are more than welcome to crash out in the main Marque. There will be a ground sheet on the floor and the area will be secure as the facing will be put back in place after the last runner has finished.

The Midnight Marathon starts at 8pm Saturday evening.

Everyone that finished before Midnight you will receive a special finisher top saying I beat the Midnight Marathon. 

All finishers will also receive a bespoke Finishers Medal and technical t-shirt.

We have a 100% feedback from last year’s race on Runners world web site 

Don’t worry there is not a cut of time. The last runner in 2015 finished at 3.30am Sunday morning.

Registration will open at 5pm and the race will start at 8pm.

There will be a short race brief at 7.30pm around the registration area.

There will be Male and Female changing tents and bag storage by Registration.

For safety reasons the race is an 8 lap run. You go past the finish area at the end of every lap.

There will be a large 10×4 monitor that will show your race number, name and the lap you are on.

It will also give you your time as you go past each lap.  

The run is all on pavement apart from one road that you will cross each lap. There will be marshals to see you across. This road is only used by the fast track buses and they only run every 15 minutes.

There are 2 water stations on each lap. The main one is just past at the finish this will have Water, High5 energy drinks and jells. There will also be Jelly babies and salted crisps. The other will have water station will have water and High5 jells.

There will be a rest area at the finish that will have free drinks and snacks in for all runners.

There will also be a tea wagon that will be open till late.

There are toilets that you will run past.

This area will have 2 lighting towers.

If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask.

The fast track bus route will be running till Midnight so please keep off the road except at the point that we cross you over. 

If you are bringing Children with you please keep them away from the water.
