The 2017 Dartford Bridge Aquathlon & Big South East Swim
will take place on the 25th June 2017
Still no price increase. Technical t-shirts to all finishers and Trophies to all winners.
We will be starting at 10am this year. This is because we are holding a Marathon the night before and that will not finish till 1am Sunday morning.

Event Update 21/06/17
Thank you for all entering the Big south east swim.
Parking will be in the Crosswater car park. Full address is Lake View House, Rennie Dr, Dartford DA1 5FU. Please park in the parking bays and take any rubbish home with you/
Registration will open at 8.30am and we will start at 10am. There will be a changing tent to the right of registration. Everyone will be going off at the same time.

We are holding the Midnight Marathon the day before on the 24th so we have moved the start time back to 10am . The swim is held in one of the cleanest Lakes in the south of England
The Big South East Swim returns to Dartford for the 5th year running.
Come and swim in one of the cleanest lakes in the UK.
Sorry but you will need to have done open water swimming before you can take part in this event. You will also need to wear a bright swimming cap.
If you feel unwell before the event please don’t race.
Due to safety issues all 2016 races will be wet suit swims only. You can only use an official swimming wet suit not a Surfing or Diving wet suit If the water goes over 23 degrees we will cancel the event. In 2015 the water did not go over 23 degrees.

PLEASE NOTE: Swimming is forbidden in the lakes on The Bridge at any time other than for events or during authorised Open Water Swim training sessions. Any person found swimming in the lakes on The Bridge is committing an act of Trespass, will be asked to leave and will be barred from site and disqualified from all future events at The Bridge.
